Generally packages take around 10-15 business days to arrive but it depends on where the item is shipping from and where you’re located. We ship to 30 countries around the world so there’s no one-size answer to this.

Why is Dare's packagin so ... sparse?

In business (like in shopping) you constantly make compromises. You can have a Ferrari but it takes a month and you pay a LOT or you can have a Honda off the lot today for a lot less.

Dare to Style’s entire existence is based on giving you amazing, dazzling jewellery for really great prices. We are not trying to be or compete with Tiffany’s or Cartier. 

Our packaging could be much fancier. Every dollar we spend in packaging would then be passed along to you for a box you would likely throw away, creating more waste on our already stressed planet.

Watches should be stored in watch display cases not a small closed box. Necklaces and bracelets should be hung or strung where you can see them so you wear them regularly. We will sell you beautiful jewellery displays and boxes but our jewellery comes very simply packaged so it arrives safely and as cost-effectively as possible.

Why don't you offer Express Shipping?

Our shipping isn’t very Express, we know. So why not just offer an upgraded Express Shipping? 

Similar to our packaging decisions and all the other decisions that guide us, this comes down to cost. If we need to have multiple shipping types, we need multiple sets of envelopes, boxes and packages. We need to set specific rules and guidelines for our many suppliers. All this adds up to extra costs passed along to you.

We want you to spend money on jewellery, not packaging, shipping, cardboard or anything that isn’t product. The more money you spend on product, the better value that product is for the money. 50% product, 50% packaging/shipping is a terrible waste of money. 95% product and 5% packaging/shipping means you get almost twice as valuable a product for the same dollar.
